Collection development/selection:

• Curriculum-based vs. patron based
• Choice magazine - provides reviews and 'choice cards' with synopsis, recommendations
• Doody's Core Titles - analysis/recommendations for medical/health sciences
• Format needs can have a strong influence on selection
• Policies - no textbooks, etc.
