Some of these organizations may be available to do staff training or conduct library public programs, others may serve as resources to which patrons can be referred for direct assistance.

New York State Coalition Against Domestic Violence

New York State Teen Dating Abuse Awareness & Prevention

Cornell Cooperative Extension
Cornell Cooperative Extension offers free or low-cost educational workshops and lots of useful information on food-related topics from food safety and nutrition to healthy eating on a limited budget. This site contains links to local program offices across NYS.

Mental Health Association in New York State (MHANYS)
MHANYS is an agency of support, education and advocacy for mental health issues. As part of its mission, MHANYS advocates for change in the mental health system ensuring access for all New Yorkers, fights stigma through community-based partnership programming, and provides information on mental health issues and services.

USDA Summer Food Service Program
