Continuing Education
CDLC and CDLC programs sponsor a number of continuing education events throughout the year. Events are listed on our calendar page with links to details on specific events.
CDLC's Continuing Education Committee (CEC) works with CDLC staff to design and implement educational programs and professional development opportunities for librarians and library staff throughout the region. The CEC seeks to coordinate continuing education programs with those offered by local libraries, state agencies, professional organizations, public and school library systems, other consortia, commercial trainers, and local roundtables and interest groups.
The CEC consists of 8-10 members who represent all four types of libraries in the region, including at least one representative from the public library systems, one from the school library systems, and one from the special libraries.
CDLC is always interested in suggestions for continuing education programs!
