Personal Membership
CDLC welcomes your support! Staff members, retirees of any library in the area served by CDLC, or any interested individuals are eligible for personal membership in the Council, as approved by the Board of Trustees. Personal members are eligible to serve on CDLC committees and may nominate candidates for the Board of Trustees from the floor of the Annual Meeting.
Annual dues for personal membership are established by the CDLC Board of Trustees. All personal members receive discounted pricing on CDLC events. For the 2010-2011 membership year, the levels of personal membership are as follows:

Personal Membership Application
CDLC is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization. Your membership and gift contributions are tax deductable to the full extent allowed by law.
Attention GE Employees and Retirees! New this year - The General Electric Foundation has certified the Capital District Library Council as a participant in the GE Matching Gifts program. In this time of diminishing public funds for libraries we encourage you to register your personal membership donation and other qualifying gifts of $25 or more. GE will match your contribution dollar-for-dollar. To register your 2010 membership donation, go to the GE web site at www.ge.com/foundation and select Matching Gifts to log on as a GE participant. Gifts may also be registered by calling the Matching Gifts Customer Support Center at (800) 305-0669.
Many other companies have matching gift policies - if your employer does matching gifts please include the appropriate form with your application.
